Down at Fashion Institute of Technology seven talented students got a chance to show off their collections. Although, some better than others I must say the collections were pretty well done. Model wise I wasn't to impressed. Nothing against looks just the walks. Whenever I am watching a runway presentation the look of the collection isn't what it's all about. It's about how it's presented by the model. Designers Erica Appleby, Marvin Inabinet, Jordan Jackson, Eva Mohrman and Ashley Padmore kicked off the show. Also what really impressed me was the live performance by Kimberly Nichole. She was amazing! However what really built up the hype of the runway show were designers Christine Smith and Joshua Myrie. These two are very and I mean VERY talented. Excuse the crapy IPhone photos, but I hope to find higher quality photos later on in the week.

Back with another video, Azealia Banks is surely on her way to become one of the next Fashion Icon. Previously, she was promoting designer Alexander Wang for his brand label and now she is seen wearing Tom Ford in her new music video "1991" off her EP 1991. You go Miss Banks! Anyone from NY will always have my support! Also props to Azealia for teaming up with MAC and sporting her new lip stick "Young Rapunzel" in this video!

As some of you know, I am currently studying Accessory Design down at my dream school Fashion Institute of Technology. I am now in my second year! It's amazing how much I've grown from being there, from learning better sewing techniques, better sketching ability and just finding out what type of designer I consider myself is just amazing. Well let's get to the point of this post, In this video we see great inspiration and what we will be seeing this upcoming Autumn and Fall season. Selections include: Gucci, Fendi, Christian Dior, Lanvin, Salvatore Ferragamo, Prada, John Galliano, Valentino, Versace, Gianfranco Ferre and lastly Barbara Bui.
